Camera Inspections Sewer Drain Pipes

The entire process is trenchless. Our cameras allow our technicians to go from an access point such as a toilet, cleanout, or roof stack. This allows us to use a video camera to quickly determine the cause of the problem.

To ensure we're providing the right solution for the job, our pipe repair specialists use high quality, trenchless technology to inspect the drains to help our technicians quickly assess where an issue is located and provide a permanent solution. Please call PRS as soon as you suspect there's a problem with your sewer or pipes.

Sewer Video Inspection

Our pipe repair specialists use camera inspections whenever possible so that we can be sure that we are using the right solution for the job. These cameras offer us up to 300ft of cable to camera, they provide high resolution pictures and videos, they come equipped with L.E.D. lights to ensure our technician will have the ability to clearly see the condition of the pipe. We have multiple camera sizes to accurately fit different pipe diameters.

Tree roots, clogs, and other materials can be seen on an image screen. We also use our state-of-the-art tractor cameras to inspect large diameter pipe. This includes city mains, storm drains, large sanitary lines, and more. We always define the root of the problem prior to jetting, cleaning, or CIPP lining of the pipe.

When Do You Need Pipe Inspection Services in Florida?

icon-27

Pre-Purchase Inspections

Florida’s older homes often have clay or cast-iron pipes that fail without warning. An affordable inspection can save you thousands of dollars later in surprise repairs, and prevent your pipes from failing when you least expect them to.

icon-28

Post-Storm Assessments

After hurricanes or major flooding, debris can block pipes far underground, and problems you see on the surface (like slow drains) might be just the beginning. We recommend pipe inspections after major storms to check for blockages or damage.

Seasonal Maintenance

Florida’s climate means tree roots grow year-round, often invading sewer and drain lines. With annual inspections, we can spot root intrusion early and clean your pipes before it leads to backups.

Persistent Drain Issues

If you’re dealing with recurring clogs or slow drains, there’s likely a structural problem downstream. Our cameras can find the real cause, and our expert team can help you find the right solution.

Why Florida Homeowners Choose PRS

Florida’s environment accelerates the rate at which cast iron and other piping materials break down. Our pipes sit closer to the surface because of the high water table, and powerful storms can flood systems with debris and sediment. Coastal locations also face faster corrosion due to salt exposure.

We’ve spent over 30 years solving these exact Florida challenges. Our local crews know how palm trees and live oaks send roots searching for moisture in your sewer lines, and we understand which areas near the coast need regular checks for salt corrosion.
