Why Choose Drain and Sewer Pipe Lining Over Replacement?

Traditional drain and sewer pipe replacement methods can cause headaches. When your home’s drain and sewer systems fail, traditional pipe replacement means:

❌ Tearing up floors, walls, and landscaping

❌ Moving out for weeks during construction

❌ Paying thousands for a full replacement

❌ Dealing with all the damage afterward

We eliminate these problems with advanced CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) lining technology, which creates a new lining inside your existing pipes. This method:

✅ Works through existing drains and cleanouts

✅ Allows you to stay in your home during repair

✅ Doesn’t cause extensive property damage

✅ Saves you thousands in repair costs

Our Process

Cleaning

Cleaning

Blocked, damaged, or root-intruded pipes are cleaned with our hydrojetter or mechanical cleaning tools to get the pipe back to its original shape and diameter.

pipe installation

Installation

An epoxy-saturated liner is pulled into place through existing access points such as a toilet or a roof vent and an internal rubber bladder is inflated, pressing the epoxy saturated liner against the existing pipe wall.

pipe restoration

Restored Pipe

The epoxy cures in a few short hours, then the bladder is deflated and removed, leaving behind a new, clean, and seamless “pipe within a pipe.”

Detailed Video Inspection

Our waterproof cameras give us a clear picture of what’s happening inside your pipes. We can identify leaks, blockages, and structural issues, and make sure your pipes are a candidate for our CIPP lining technology.

Thorough Pipe Cleaning

We clear away grease, debris, and root intrusions from your drain and sewer pipes using hydrojetting or mechanical tools. This leaves your pipes clean and helps the CIPP liner adhere more effectively.

CIPP Liner Installation

An epoxy-saturated liner is pulled through your existing pipe. The bladder system expands the liner against the pipe walls, and it cures or hardens to form what is essentially a brand new pipe inside your existing one.

Alfonso and the PRS team were the ultimate professionals. If we had a question, they took the time to answer and, in some instances, educate. Having your pipes lined is not a small task, but the PRS team was thorough, detailed, and professional the entire time they were here.

Working with PRS has been a wonderful experience. In preparation for selling our home, we had the remaining cast iron pipes lined by PRS. Working with Dewey Mixon in their Sarasota office and Alex and Tyler at our home was terrific.

FAQs

  • How long does pipe lining last in Florida's climate?

Our CIPP lining lasts 50+ years, even in Florida’s tough conditions. It won’t corrode like cast iron or crack from shifting sandy soil.

  • Will you have to dig up my yard?

We work through your existing drains, cleanouts, and access points. If there isn’t sufficient or suitable access, we may need to create an access point and install a cleanout in your yard to complete the work.

  • How much does it cost compared to pipe replacement?

It depends on the scope of the project. Pipe lining is generally more cost-effective than traditional replacement. Replacement often involves digging up floors or landscaping, using heavy equipment, and paying for restoration afterward (flooring, drywall, concrete, and more). Lining avoids most of those extra costs, making it the more efficient and affordable option in most cases.
